The Smith Westerns

I heard their song Be My Girl on Pitchfork, its really good. I bought their album, it is also really good. More garage pop music that sounds a bit like Jay Reatard. And from what I can found out, they are young, excellent.

Ganglians

These guys are on the same label as Woods, which is Woodsist (see 5th May 2009). I bought their self titled EP and album Monster Head Room today from Rough Trade, they were quite expensive...

My favourite song is probably Valient Brave, but I've only heard the album through once.

Japandroids

Japandroids are from Canada, their album is called Post-Nothing, its not been released in England yet, but it will be on 4th August. It is a really fun album, and the song Young Hearts Spark Fire is incredible.
